Club Kickoff

Kickoff is a football manager game for kids. It's not as complicated as other football games but it is unique because you can play teams with all genders and also play with mixed teams. The advertisements in the game are on the football field and on the players shirts, just like in real life. 

My role in this project was creative director and lead designer. I designed the branding, the app UI, UX and animations.

As a creative director, my job was to shape the game's artistic vision and ensure its cohesive execution. I led the creative team, defined the project's aesthetic direction, and guided its realization from concept to completion.

The process of designing the game involved several steps. First, we developed a strong brand and planned the game mechanics, user interface, and visuals. Next, we created a basic prototype for testing and made it interactive. Based on testing feedback, we refined the game. Finally, we polished the design for development and made adjustments as needed, using a design system.

The game is heavily animated using the Rive app, with most of the animations created by me. Rive works similarly to After Effects but is connected to a state machine, allowing us to influence the animation based on events.
